anti - facist march x bristol cable
In early August 2024, a wave of right-wing violence swept across the UK, with rioters targeting asylum seeker accommodations and engaging in widespread clashes with police. In response, thousands rallied to the streets, united in taking a stand against the escalating unrest and intolerance.
I captured these photos for the Bristol Cable live report of the thousands who gathered to resist a rumoured fascist rally in Old Market.
The peaceful crowds brought to life the spirit of a city that says no to racism, no to Islamphobia.
Signs of welcome, appreciation for the UK's diversity, and captured the eye everywhere. Music was playing, speeches were made, and together, we beat evil.
